DNX-FCC

The DNX-FCC catalyst - Medium dust applications

The Umicore DNX-FCC-series of catalysts is especially developed and optimized for FCC units. It has a pitch that is carefully selectred to ensure a smooth operation both during normal operation and during off-sets situations with very high dust content sometimes experienced with FCC units.

The wall thickness is optimized to ensure a very high DeNOx activity in combination with reduced pressure drop and SO2 oxidation while still ensuring a high mechanical strength. The FCC catalyst comes in a variety of vanadium concentrations and pitch sizes to guarantee optimal performance for any application or industry.

Features

The design and manufacture of Umicore's DNX catalysts are based on a solid fundamental understanding of surface physics and chemistry to ensure high activity while keeping the SO2 oxidation at a minimum.

All types of fuels and industries

The FCC catalyst series is especially developed for FCC units but can be applied in a range of fuels like biomass, cement, waste and glass furnace. The FCC catalyst can be designed to meet the exact operating condition by varying the active part of the catalyst and the pitch sizes to meet the requested performance.

Very stable activity

Our industrial experience together with the extensive testing in our laboratories have proven that the FCC catalyst activity is maintained over long operation in a wide range of applications. Umicore is capable of tailor-making catalysts for any application and for any level of dust, sulfur in the fuel or poisons in the fuel and can therefore provide the best performance in terms of NOx removal, pressure drop and lifetime of the catalyst.

Values

The exceptional combination of the above features of the DNX-FCC catalyst ensures a long trouble-free service life. This translates directly into minimized catalyst and operating costs and thus it ensures excellent value and easy operation.
